2023 Ride 4 Dray Impact
The Ride 4 Dray 2023 had lofty goals for spreading awareness and raising funds for the fight against childhood cancer with a mission to make a difference in Europe. After 9 months of planning, Papa embarked on a 35-country, 4-month journey through Europe. Landing in Madrid on April 26, 2023, RSM Spain's Madrid office rolled out the red-carpet to start the ride in first-class style. Then finished in grand style in Dublin on August 24, 2023, with a warm embrace from RSM Ireland and two lifelong friends from the USA. The final "official" day's ride included an amazing fundraiser hosted by RSM Ireland that resulted in over 25,000 Euro donated to the Children's Foundation of Ireland. The Ride 4 Dray Europe covered nearly 13,000 miles (over 20,800 km), with visits to 68 RSM offices, and meetings with 26 different children's cancer hospitals and charitable organizations. RSM colleagues across Europe rallied to support the Ride 4 Dray and collectively raised over 76,000 Euro that was donated to children's hospitals, cancer centers and organizations in their home country. And friends, family and supporters back home in the states, contributed another $70,000 US to the Ride 4 Dray. End result, over $146,000 donated by, or on behalf of, the Ride 4 Dray in 2023. Wow!
