I was greeted by friends and family at OSF Children's Hospital, Peoria, IL, for an amazing and special sendoff ceremony. Extra special thank you to the Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis for the gracious gift of blessing my bike and journey with holy and the medallion of St. Francis to help keep me safe throughout my journey. Bob Woolsey presided with prayer. Friends and family on hand included: my kids - Payton & Donivine Stewart, Bailey Clarahan, Bill & Roberta King, Theresa Murphy, John & Annette Heller, Mike Wells, Mitch Gilfillan, Kevin & Matt McLaughlin, Steve Stockman, Lizzy Salmon, Lauren McBain and Jim & Mimi Ardis. Thank you for the warm wishes and extra jolt of encouragement to start my Ride 4 Dray!
